Samsung Promises Security Updates For Galaxy Devices For At Least 4 Years

One of the primary reasons why a majority of people still prefer using iOS over Android is software updates. For instance, the iPhone 5S that was launched in 2013 came with iOS 7. Surprisingly, the smartphone was supported for five years and the last update it received was iOS 12.

Recently Samsung has announced that it will offer at least four years of Android security updates on several Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

In this article, we have shared a list of Galaxy devices that will receive four years of security updates.

Four Years Of Security Updates For Galaxy Smartphones

Samsung generally rolls out monthly security updates for flagship smartphone series like Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, and Foldable devices. On the other hand, mid-range Samsung smartphones receive quarterly security updates.
