Iranian RANA Android Malware Also Spies On Instant Messengers
A team of researchers these days unveiled earlier undisclosed capabilities of an Android adware implant—developed by a sanctioned Iranian menace actor—that could let attackers spy on non-public chats from well-known instantaneous messaging apps, drive Wi-Fi connections, and vehicle-remedy phone calls from specific numbers for reasons of eavesdropping on discussions.
