Charming Kitten, aka Phosphorous, has reportedly added a novel PowerShell-based implant called PowerLess Backdoor with fortifies the group’s ability to bypass security products. The attacker’s toolset comes with extremely modular, multi-staged malware that decrypts and deploys additional payloads. Organizations are recommended to share intelligence and deploy a genuine network firewall and anti-malware solution.
